overview
Leveling agent, a surfactant that promotes uniform coloring of dyes during fiber dyeing. It has slow dyeing and transfer dyeing properties, which can effectively improve the levelness of the dye to achieve uniform dyeing results, thereby improving the application performance of the dye. All levelling agents are easily soluble in water, and some are fibrophilic, such as anionic surfactants of direct dyes (such as higher alcohol sulfate sodium salt, etc.) and cationic surfactants for dyeing acrylic fibers (quaternary Ammonium salt type), etc., some are dye-friendly, or have affinity for both, such as polyethylene glycol ether type non-ionic surfactant. It can be used in the industry as wetting agent, stabilizer, and color printing and polishing base in color photography. For example, pull-open powder BX, Pingpingjia ○, etc.
main types
1. Non-ionic dispersion leveling agent
The molecular structure of the non-ionic dispersion leveling agent contains a large number of polyethylene glycol segments. Since the nonionic dispersion leveling agent cannot form electrostatic repulsion between the dye particles and there is a cloud point, its high temperature dispersion stability is poor. However, because the polyethylene glycol segment has a strong solubilization effect on the dye, the non-ionic dispersion leveling agent has a good leveling effect.
2. anionic dispersion leveling agent
The anionic dispersion leveling agent can adsorb on the surface of the dye particles to form a strong negative charge layer, and a stable dispersion state is formed due to the strong electrostatic repulsion between the charged dye particles. This type of dispersant is mainly sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate with aromatic core. According to the chemical structure of its aromatic core, it can be divided into two categories: naphthalene and phenol. Naphthalene dispersion leveling agent is widely used due to its low price, which can meet the production and dyeing process requirements of general disperse dyes, so the production of naphthalene sulfonic acid dispersant is the largest. This kind of dispersant is added to general commercial disperse dyes. Such as dispersants NNO, MF, etc., all belong to this category. There is no strong polar group in the molecular structure of the lifacile part of this kind of dispersant, and it is mainly adsorbed by van der Waals force with disperse dye molecules. Because the phenolic anionic dispersant contains many strong polar phenolic hydroxyl groups in its aromatic core, it not only has van der Waals force adsorption between the dispersant molecule and the dye molecule, but also can form hydrogen bonds with the hydroxyl and amino groups in the dye molecule. Because the bonding strength of the hydrogen bond is greater than the strength of the van der Waals force, the dispersant containing the phenolic hydroxyl group is more firmly combined with the dye particles at high temperature. Commercialized varieties include dispersed agent s, sulfonated lignin, etc.

Leveling agent TAN is dodecyl xylene benzyl ammonium chloride, which belongs to the cationic type, the appearance is a yellowish to light yellow transparent liquid, the pH value is 7, and it is not acid resistant. This product has the functions of softness, smoothness, antistatic, disinfection and sterilization.
6. Leveling Agent A- 80
Leveling agent A- 80 is a compound of aryl phenol polyoxyethylene ether, anionic dispersant and anionic additive, which is anionic. The appearance is a brown viscous liquid, which can be diluted with any amount of water. It is resistant to acid, alkali and alkaline earth metal ions. It is stable to temperature and sunlight. It can be mixed with non-ionic and anionic compounds, but it cannot be mixed with cations. It has no burns and irritation on the skin. It is non-toxic and non-combustible, has low foaming properties, and has the functions of leveling, slow dyeing, shifting and, it can be used for carrier dyeing, warp shaft dyeing, bobbin dyeing, high temperature and high pressure dyeing, tire dyeing machine dyeing, jet and overflow dyeing machine dyeing and O dyeing machine dyeing of pure polyester, polyester cotton, polyester wool, polyester viscose yarn, knitted fabric and woven fabric. After dyeing with this product, the dyeing surface is smooth and bright, and it can also prevent the deposition of polyester oligomers, reduce the consumption of knitting needles during knitting, and achieve the same effect of Japanese Toho salt A- 10.
7. Leveling Agent A
Leveling agent A is a betaine amphoteric surfactant obtained by reacting high-carbon fatty amine with ethylene oxide, then quaternized with halogenated alkane, and finally esterified. It is applied to cashmere dyeing process, It can eliminate the dyeing defects of light-colored varieties and has good levelness.
